There will be 12 drops that consist of 10k, and one final drop on 4/20/2023 of 3,456. Bringing the total supply after one year to 123,456 unique Pot Head NFTs! These are digital collectables living on the Polygon Ecosystem, an Ethereum layer 2 framework. Each Pot Head is unique and programmatically generated from over 100 possible traits, including face, outfit, fill, and others. Plus we're adding more every drop! All pots are dope, but some are much more rare than others! All of the pots are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Polygon blockchain and hosted on IPFS.
Purchasing a Pot Head costs only 2 Polygon, but prices increase per drop! Once we are live there will be new features added that only members can access and future areas and perks can be unlocked by the community throughout time! We want your feedback and ideas for any further additions! You as a member get to have a say in project additions and benefits! If you want a certain shirt, hat, or face to match the other nfts in your collection, just let us know and we can add them in future drops to give you a chance of claiming that style! Or if you want certain features we can look into adding them too!

BURRRN ERRRR (soon...)
If you happen to get a mint that you don't love, or you just want to try "rerolling" to see if you get something better, you will be able to burn your Pot Head to claim a spot for the next drop. If you have 10+ Potheads saved up from early drops this might be a good way to jump in on the later mints if you like a certain addition! Burning your Pot reduces the total supply that will be available on the market, but be careful because there's a good chance that you get something more common!
Baggies (soon...)
If NFTs are supposed to represent the digital version of card sets (Pokemon or Sports), then Baggies are the digital representation of the packs. These will be groups of "unminted" nfts that when the pack is "opened", thereby destroying or burning it, the owner of the pack then claims the 10 MINTED NFTs. The real question is, do you open them?
Cross Strain (Year 2+)
Pot Heads will be launch only on Polygon for the first year cycle, but we plan to come to EVERY chain that supports NFTs! After our first year is complete we will start rolling out Pot Heads on one chain per month, mimicking the monthly drop schedule set from year one! This will bring together our whole collection together in a Cross Chain Ecosystem built around our Pot Heads! If you happen to find any Pot Heads on a different blockchain before we announce it, then they are not real so please report them!

Why Polygon?
Basics 1: What is Polygon? At its peak times, Ethereum is like a traffic jam in downtown New York: You’re happy to pay $100 for a transaction — and sometimes the gas fees dig even deeper into your wallet. These are Ethereum’s scaling problems; and Polygon (formerly Matic) solves them: Polygon is a Layer 2 solution for Ethereum and helps by taking over some traffic. In doing so, Ethereum and Polygon are interoperable; so you can transfer tokens from Ethereum to Polygon via the Polygon Bridge.

So Polygon sweeps the streets empty for Ethereum, but what is MetaMask?
Basics 2: What is MetaMask? MetaMask is a crypto wallet for Ethereum that runs
a.) as a browser extension and/or
b.) as a mobile wallet. You can also use MetaMask for other chains like Polygon or the Binance Smart Chain.

But now: Let’s go through the whole process of getting Polygon NFTs onto MetaMask in 3 easy steps:
How to Mint?
Step 1.) Add Polygon Network to MetaMask
In order to view the flow of funds in your accounts, on the Polygon Network, you will need to configure Polygon URL on Metamask.
There are two ways to do it:
AutoMATICally Using Polygonscan
Add the Polygon network manually Using Polygonscan
Please make sure you have already installed Metamask!
Please follow the steps to add Polygon’s Mainnet AutoMATICally:
Navigate to polygonscan.com
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the button Add Polygon Network
Once you click the button you will see a Metamask Notification, now click on Approve. You will be directly switched to Polygon’s Mainnet now in the network dropdown list. You can now close the dialog.
If you are facing any issue, Add the Network Manually
(steps given below)
Connect MetaMask to Polygon Manually
Here's how:
a.) Click on “Ethereum Main Net” in MetaMask and select “Special RPC”.
b.) Now enter the following information into the fields:
Network name: Polygon Mainnet
MainnetNew RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/
Chain ID: 137
Currency symbol: Matic
Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
c.) Then you confirm the new network
DONE! Now you can send and receive MATIC tokens and wrapped tokens in MetaMask. But how do you get funds on Polygon, so you can buy Pot Head NFTs?
Step 2.) To switch funds to Polygon MainNet, go to this website:
https://wallet.polygon.technology/
Here you will be able to receive Matic from a Centralized Exchange or transfer any funds from Ethereum that you might have.
Step 3.) NOW YOU'RE READY TO MINT!
Just go to our Minting Site and connect your MetaMask to mint up to 710 Pot Heads now!
Now you go to MetaMask … want to admire your NFT … and, lo and behold: There is NOTHING!
What do you do now? Unfortunately, MetaMask cannot show your NFT. Go to OpenSea or another Polygon compatible NFT platform and connect it to MetaMask.
There it is: If you had an NFT on Ethereum, you could also see it in the mobile version of Metamask. Does it work with Polygon NFTs? — Not for me, anyway.
